Pose of the Week!

It’s HAPPY BABY POSE! Ok, we’re cheating a little bit with this photo but we couldn’t help express how much we love this pose! It’s so beneficial for the lower back and a great way to get a quick stretch in for the hamstrings, hips and spine. It’s one of the best poses you can do when you simply need to take a break.

Step 1.  Lay on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.

Step 2. Pull your knees into your chest and give them a quick squeeze.

Step 3. Grab the outer parts of your feet or lock your first and second fingers around your big toes.

Step 4. Flex your heels and pull your legs down closer to the ground on either side of you, opening your hips.

Step 5. Gently rock back and forth allowing your lower back to release any tension. Take a moment (or two!) to just breathe here.
