This week’s POTW is Child’s Pose!

Child’s pose is great for gently stretching your lower back, hips, thighs, knees, and ankles. It massages your internal organs, helping with digestion. Child’s pose calms the mind and central nervous system, reminding us that resting is a good a thing!

Steps to Child’s Pose:

Step 1: Beginning in Table Pose, lower the hips to the heels and forehead to the floor on an exhale.

Step 2: Position your arms, either overhead with palms on the floor or alongside the body.

Step 3: Breathe slowly, pressing the belly against the things on the inhale.

Step 4: Place the palms under the shoulders, slowly pressing into a seated position on an inhale.
