This week’s POTW is Ustrasana, or Camel Pose!
Camel pose has many benefits including boosting one’s energy and mood, strengthening the back and opening the shoulders and chest!
Step 1: Come on to your knees with legs hip-width apart
Step 2: On an inhale, reach your tailbone toward your knees, creating space between your lower vertebrae and allowing your rib cage to expand
Step 3: Drop your hands toward your heels while keeping your chest raised, core engaged, and spine long.
Step 4: Lift your shoulders and gently lower the head and neck, gazing at the tip of your nose.
